United Bodies
United Bodies
Mabru Rodrigues has been the founder of the United Bodies since 2018.
The project aims to portray real bodies without manipulation in photoshop, starring cis and trans women.
She explores the social narratives that encourage future generations of women to be empowered.
Mabru works with the technique he studied at the theater college, called improvised contact, created by Steve Paxton, which explores improvised movements, where one body connects with the other, creating a connection through touch, one woman connects with the other, embracing your scars.
Photography records the moment, the emotion, and the state of mind of each person, portraying the natural beauty of each woman, without any restrictions.
The project addresses personal issues, their vulnerabilities are seen, plurality, poetry, and art, the visual image that crosses the skin, portraying the natural beauty of each one.
We are many and we are immensity, together we are stronger!
