Mabru Rodrigues is a Brazilian photographer and visual artist whose work deeply explores the connection between human emotions, nature, and hybrid creative processes. Her Florescer series is a powerful visual narrative that reflects her journey of healing, resilience, and transformation.

At the same time, she develops her personal project United Bodies, which portrays the natural beauty of women. The series explores spontaneous movements, where bodies connect through touch, feeling, and mutual embrace, revealing vulnerabilities. Through this work, Mabru seeks to empower women, encouraging them to free themselves from the standards imposed on their bodies and embrace their own uniqueness.

Mabru believes in the transformative power of art as a tool for healing and self-discovery. Her works build bridges between her personal experiences and the audience, inviting viewers to reflect on their own cycles of loss, transformation, and rebirth. By working with a plurality of bodies, she highlights the natural beauty of each person, celebrating their stories and essence.

In 2018, it was classified for the contest A New Renaissance at the PhotoVogue festival in Milan.
In 2019, she was selected to participate in the first Bienal Black Brazil Art - with the theme Invisible Women, in the city of Florianópolis/Brazil.
In 2020 she won bronze at the Tokyo International Photo Awards, Tifa festival, in the fine art and self-portrait category.
In 2021, she was selected to participate in the Art Lab Foto Gallery in São Paulo/Brazil.     
In 2022, she was selected for a group exhibition in Lisbon Curated by Girls "A nova Feminilidade".
In 2024, she won an honorable mention for her self-portrait project Flourish at the Tokyo International Foto Awards.

Mabru Rodrigues had her works published by magazines such as Afrostyle Magazine, Afropunk, Curated By Girls, Ocean Africa, Iconic Artist, and Vogue Italia.
